My husband was diagnosed with ALS in August of 2011. My family did our best coping with this disease while keeping our faith at the center of it. We never gave up, but in the end, Tad succumbed to this disease on November 7, 2017. Now my children and I move forward with whatever life throws at us next. I like to find God-moments in obscure places and try my best to share the lessons I learn with others.
My writing is mostly to help me make sense of the jumbled mess that goes on in my head. I hope that my ramblings help others see things in a new way. I realize we may not reach the same conclusions given the exact same information, but I believe we should still engage in civil, respectful dialog with one another. I appreciate feedback and thoughtful comments, but I will not allow vicious, rude hostility.
